Lycée Chateaubriand de Rome.In order to write their radio plays, the students had to continue the first few lines of Raymond Chanler’s detective novel entitled "High Windows" (1942). It starts like this :
" I’ve never had any dealing with private detectives, Mr Marlowe. I don’t know anything about them. Your references seem satisfactory. What are your charges ?" "To do what, Mrs Murdock ?"
The short plays were then performed in class.
